The Honourable Marquis' supposition is correct. He can read about this in the great boy's book "Röde Orm", by Frans G. Bengtsson. Orm actually came from the Kullen district - probably from the site of the modern Krapperup estate.

The book has been excellently translated into English as "The Long Ships", by Micheal Meier. Unfortunately, Hollywood ruined the opportunity to make a good film and made a bad one, with Richard Widmark. The film had the same name as the translation.

: : We must have been a very important sea port during the Viking age! Look at this map! Did we not play a role in this age too?
