I truly believe that, in spirit anyway, serious Ladonians have been celebrating the coming of the millenium since 1901, whether they were cognizant or not.
I must raise a stink, though, as to whether we celebrate 2000 or 2001 ... or should we just ignore the controversy over the "true" date of the millenium and simply celebrate from 31 Dec 1999 through 1 Jan 2001?
